Samovar and Tea Boiler Heating Elements and Taps: A Spare Parts Guide

Samovars and tea boilers run from morning to night, so two parts fail first: the heating element and the tap. Knowing the options saves a day of lost service.

Samovar heating elements

We supply a wide range of samovar elements. The most common power ratings are 1000 W, 1500 W, 2000 W and 2500 W, plus many other shapes. Match the rating, voltage, flange or thread, and overall size of your old element.

Tea boiler elements

For larger tea boilers, copper thermostatic elements heat quickly and hold temperature. See the folded copper element and the straight copper element.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the power rating?

Use the rating printed on your old element (for example 1000 W, 1500 W, 2000 W or 2500 W) and the same voltage.

Why do tea boiler elements scale up?

Hard water leaves limescale on the element. Descaling regularly extends its life.

Do taps wear out?

Yes. Washers and handles wear with daily use; metal and push-type taps are available for replacement.
